The Master of Education Program in Curriculum and Instruction (Revised Curriculum, 2023) was approved by the Suratthani Rajabhat University Council at its meeting No. 10/2022 on 25 October 2022. The program has also been reviewed and confirmed for compliance by the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, on 17 November 2022.
The Master of Education Program in Curriculum and Instruction aims to produce graduates with the following attributes:
- Possess comprehensive knowledge and competence in curriculum and instruction, with a strong understanding of relevant principles and theories. Graduates are able to apply knowledge and research findings to benefit society and effectively manage learning processes that enhance learners’ outcomes.
- Demonstrate the ability to conduct research or independent study, produce academic work, and generate new knowledge or innovative practices in curriculum and instruction. Graduates exhibit creativity and the capacity to integrate existing and new knowledge in research and innovation development.
- Uphold integrity, ethics, and professional standards in both academic and teaching professions, while demonstrating desirable characteristics and leadership in curriculum and instruction.
Ethics and Moral Responsibility
- Ability to address complex ethical and professional issues through fair, evidence-based, and well-reasoned judgment, in accordance with professional codes, regulations, and societal values, while considering stakeholders’ perspectives.
- Initiative in identifying, reviewing, and resolving ethical issues, and supporting others in applying ethical reasoning to manage conflicts and challenges affecting individuals and society.
- Demonstration of leadership in promoting ethical practices within workplaces, communities, and society.

Credit Requirements
The Master of Education Program in Curriculum and Instruction offers two study plans:
- Plan A (Type A2):
Minimum of 36 total credits, including at least 12 credits for the thesis and no fewer than 24 credits of coursework. Additional courses or academic activities may be required under the supervision of an academic advisor. Students must meet the academic performance criteria set by the university. - Plan B:
Minimum of 36 total credits, including at least 30 credits of coursework and up to 6 credits of independent study. Additional courses or academic activities may be required under the supervision of an academic advisor. Students must meet the academic performance criteria set by the university.

- Specialized Courses: at least 18 credits

Plan B: Minimum 36 Credits

- Core Courses: 9 credits
- Elective Courses: at least 15 credits
